Baby Peter was christened this weekend. It was followed by a meal at the Landmark Hotel in London where this oval shaped Moses basket cake was displayed. It was a 12" oval fruitcake, all decorations were made in sugar, even the cover with the bow and of course the baby.
After having had many tastings of different flavours of sponge cakes of late, I decided to have a piece of fruitcake for a change. I forgot how delicious a good piece of fruitcake is, if only people would be more adventurous and try a piece. Personally, I don't think you can beat a good piece of fruitcake.
