I am constantly trying to get my stacked wedding cakes taller. The cake on the left has 3 additional cake boards in between each cake, each board being 15mm in height therefore raising each tier by 45mm. Of course this does not compare to the pillared cake on your right. I am looking forward to creating new designs this coming wedding season.
